✅ Scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside, with breathtaking landscapes
✅ Gorilla trekking – a close-up encounter with endangered mountain gorillas
✅ Batwa cultural experience, learning about the indigenous forest people
✅ Wildlife spotting along the way, including monkeys, birds, and forest antelopes
✅ A knowledgeable and experienced guide to enhance your adventure

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe, heading southwest towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, with rolling hills, lush plantations, and traditional villages.
You will have a lunch stop in Mbarara, a town famous for its rich Ankole culture and long-horned cattle. The drive continues through the stunning Kigezi Highlands, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa" due to its breathtaking scenery.
Arrive at Bwindi in the late afternoon and check in at your lodge. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the exciting gorilla trek the next day.

Wake up early for a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. The rangers will explain gorilla trekking guidelines, safety precautions, and what to expect during the experience.
You’ll then embark on a guided trek into the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can last anywhere from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Along the way, you’ll navigate rugged terrain, cross streams, and spot various wildlife species, including monkeys, birds, and forest antelopes.
When you finally find the gorillas, you will be allowed one unforgettable hour to observe and photograph them. Witness their playful interactions, gentle nature, and striking human-like expressions—an experience that will leave you speechless!
After the trek, return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest and lunch.
In the evening, take a short visit to the Batwa Pygmy community, the indigenous people of the Bwindi forest. Learn about their traditional hunting techniques, music, and storytelling, and how they once coexisted with the gorillas in the forest. This experience provides a deep cultural connection and a chance to support local communities.
Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe or Kampala, retracing the scenic landscapes of southwestern Uganda. Enjoy lunch en route and make brief stops for photography and souvenir shopping.
Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon or evening, depending on your flight schedule, marking the end of your 3-day gorilla trekking adventure.
