Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe, heading northwest through Uganda’s scenic countryside. Along the way, you’ll pass rolling hills, tea plantations, and local villages, offering a glimpse into rural Ugandan life.

En route, you have an optional stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you can track rhinos on foot and see these magnificent creatures up close.

Continue the drive and arrive at Murchison Falls National Park in the afternoon. Before checking in at your lodge, visit the top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile crashes through a 7-meter-wide gorge, creating a dramatic 45-meter drop. The view here is simply breathtaking!

Settle in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening

Day 02 Game Drive and Boat Safari on the Nile

Rise early for an exciting morning game drive on the northern side of the park. This is the best time to spot wildlife as animals are most active. Keep your eyes open for lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, and various antelope species as you drive through the savannah.

After the game drive, return for breakfast and some relaxation.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari on the Nile, one of Uganda’s most famous wildlife experiences. This 3-hour cruise takes you to the base of Murchison Falls, passing through areas teeming with hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species.

Return to the lodge for a relaxed evening and dinner.

Day 03 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, driving through Uganda’s picturesque landscapes. This journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, passing small towns, tea plantations, and lush countryside.

Arrive in the afternoon and check in at your lodge. If time allows, take an evening game drive for a chance to spot elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife.

Relax at your lodge and prepare for the next adventure.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Kasenyi Plains, a prime wildlife viewing area. Here, you’ll have high chances of spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and various antelopes as they roam freely in the savannah.

After the game drive, return for breakfast and some rest.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This channel is home to one of Africa’s largest concentrations of hippos and offers spectacular views of elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species along the banks.

Enjoy a leisurely evening at your lodge.

Day 5: Ishasha Game Drive (Tree-Climbing Lions) & Relaxation

After breakfast, drive to Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Unlike other lions that prefer the ground, these unique predators can be seen resting in fig trees, providing incredible photo opportunities.

Spend the day exploring Ishasha before returning to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 6: Return to Kampala or Entebbe

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, with an en-route stop for lunch. Arrive in the late afternoon, marking the end of an unforgettable 6-day Uganda safari.
