Your safari begins with a pick-up from Kigali in Rwanda, where you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Akagera National Park. Known for its diverse wildlife, Akagera is home to the Big Five and a variety of bird species. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and unwind for the evening, ready for the exciting wildlife adventure that awaits.
After breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive through Akagera National Park, where you’ll explore the park’s savannahs, wetlands, and woodlands. Spot the park's diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Akagera, which will give you a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife along the water. Return to your accommodation in the evening.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Kivu, one of Africa’s Great Lakes. Lake Kivu offers stunning views and is perfect for relaxation and water activities. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and spend the rest of the day enjoying the lake's beauty. Relax by the water or take a stroll along the shoreline.
Today, enjoy various activities around Lake Kivu. You can take a boat ride to explore some of the lake’s islands, visit Gisenyi, a town near the lake, or simply relax on the beach. The scenic beauty of the lake surrounded by rolling hills provides the perfect backdrop for a tranquil day.
After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes, with breathtaking views of the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and prepare for your exciting trekking adventure the following day.
Today, embark on the highlight of your safari: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Accompanied by expert guides, you will hike through dense forests in search of the magnificent mountain gorillas. Once you find them, spend an hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll check into your accommodation for the night.
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is known for its incredible wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see an abundance of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park. Known for its dramatic Murchison Falls, this park offers excellent opportunities for game viewing. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax in preparation for the next day’s safari activities.
Start the day with an exciting game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, where you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Four (lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards) along with a variety of other wildlife, including giraffes and antelopes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile, which will take you up to the base of the impressive Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge. This is an unforgettable experience.
On your final day, visit the top of Murchison Falls, where you’ll get a panoramic view of the cascading waters of the Nile. After taking in the view, transfer back to Entebbe for your departure flight. This marks the end of your 10-day safari, filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters and stunning landscapes.
