Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. After check-in and settling in, enjoy an afternoon birdwatching session at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC). The center is home to a variety of bird species, both native and migratory. It’s an excellent introduction to Uganda’s birdlife, with species such as African Grey Parrots, Crowned Cranes, and Hornbills. You’ll also have a chance to spot some of Uganda’s larger wildlife here.

Start your day early with morning birdwatching at the Botanical Gardens in Entebbe. This lush garden offers a perfect habitat for a wide variety of species, including the blue-headed coucal, yellow-rumped tinkerbird, and many more. After your birding session, you will embark on a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park, where you’ll check in to your accommodation. The park is home to an impressive variety of birds, including the Papyrus Gonolek, White-winged Warbler, and Shoebill Stork.

On Day 3, you will enjoy a morning boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This boat ride offers excellent opportunities to observe water birds such as African Fish Eagles, Great White Egrets, Kingfishers, and Darter Birds. The calm waters and scenic surroundings make for a peaceful birding experience. After the cruise, head back to the park for an afternoon birdwatching session, where you will have the chance to spot land birds in the park's savannah, including Black-headed Gonolek, African Wattled Lapwing, and Violet-backed Starling.

After breakfast, you will transfer to Semuliki Forest National Park, located in western Uganda. This park is one of the richest birdwatching destinations in the country, home to several species found only in the central African rainforests. Arriving at your accommodation, you will have the evening free to settle in and enjoy an evening birdwatching session in the park, with the chance to spot Great Blue Turaco, Western Black-headed Oriole, and many other forest dwellers.

Today, you will enjoy a game drive through Semuliki National Park, where you can combine birding with the thrill of spotting wildlife. This park is famous for its bird species, including Piping Hornbill, Yellow-throated Nicator, and Red-tailed Ant Thrush. The park’s diverse habitats offer a chance to spot both forest and savannah bird species. You will spend the day immersed in nature, enjoying the birds, wildlife, and beautiful landscapes of Semuliki.

On your final day, enjoy a morning birdwatching session in Semuliki National Park. The early hours offer the best opportunities to spot rare species like the African Blue Flycatcher, African Green Broadbill, and Black-crowned Waxbill. Afterward, you will transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala, where your safari ends with a drop-off at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel.
