After breakfast, you will head out for a game drive in Arusha National Park, known for its stunning scenery and diverse wildlife. Optional activities include a walking safari or canoeing on Momella Lakes.
Leaving Arusha, you will travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River, where you can see lions, leopards, giraffes, and wildebeests. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, home to over 500 bird species. You will check in to a luxury lodge for the night.
Spend a full day in Tarangire National Park, exploring different ecosystems and spotting a variety of wildlife. The Silale Swamp is a key highlight, attracting large numbers of animals during the dry season. You will have a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos. A game drive through the park will take you through lush forests, open grasslands, and the shores of Lake Manyara, offering sightings of elephants, baboons, and hippos. Later, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will spend the night at a lodge near the crater rim.
Today, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s best wildlife destinations. The crater is home to over 25,000 animals, including black rhinos, lions, cheetahs, and hippos. Today, you will head to the Northern Serengeti, an area famous for the Mara River crossing, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras migrate in search of fresh grazing lands. You will witness dramatic predator-prey interactions as crocodiles and big cats take advantage of the migration. In the evening, check in to a luxury tented camp for the night.
