Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls (Boat Cruise & Top of the Falls)
After an early breakfast, meet your driver/guide and depart for Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience on foot. Continue to the park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a boat cruise along the Nile River, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of birds as you cruise towards the base of the mighty falls. In the evening, hike or drive to the Top of the Falls to witness the Nile squeezing through a 7-meter gorge, creating the thunderous Murchison Falls. Dinner and overnight at your budget lodge.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Return to Kampala/Entebbe
Start the day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, and more. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast before beginning your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening.
