Day 1: Arrival and transfer to lodge in either Entebbe or Kampala – Uganda’s capital

Upon your arrival through Entebbe International airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your overnight hotel in Entebbe.

Note: You will quickly and easily identify the driver to welcome you. He will be holding a placard with your names on it.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls Park en-route Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Your safari in Uganda will begin with driving northwards to Murchison Falls National Park. With a hot lunch en-route, prepare your selves for the breathtaking scenery and a short nature walk and Rhino tracking to the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary in Masindi. The guided nature walk in the sanctuary brings you up close with the endangered rhinos (the only ones in Uganda). In the evening arrive into the national park and transfer directly to your lodge for dinner and overnight at your accommodation preference.

Day 3: Early morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise and hike to the top of Murchison Falls

After an early morning breakfast, enjoy an early game drive and enjoy some of the vast array of game animals like giraffes, elephants and buffalo that roam the park. Return to Lodge for Lunch. In the afternoon take a Boat Launch upstream to the foot of the thundering Murchison Falls offering great photo opportunities of this marvel of nature. Also along the banks of the River you will be able to see animals like Hippos, crocodiles, and unique bird species for the avid Bird watchers. From the bottom of the falls, you take a short hike to the top of the mighty Murchison Falls for spectacular views and great photography opportunities.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, drive south west of Uganda to the town of Fort Portal and then proceed to Kibale Forest National Park. Lunch en-route. Arrive at Kibale forest in the evening and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest & visit Bigodi swamp

After an early breakfast, you’ll have briefing session by the park officials, take the Bigodi swamp walk. Bigodi Swamp is popular with many swamp endemic birds. The swamp is also a major livelihood for the local community through tourism and crafts.

After return to the lodge in mid-morning and later set off to the rainforest on the chimpanzee tracking adventure. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, one of the largest parks and home to several species of mammals. Lunch at a lodge in the park. Later on have an evening game drive in the savannah plains with sights of Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, hyenas, stripped jackals, Hippopotamus, Kobs, Warthog and a variety of primates like Chimpanzee, olive baboon, red-tailed and vervet monkeys in the forests. Dinner and overnight at accommodation of your choice

Day 7: Morning game drive and Evening boat cruise at Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive towards Kasenyi and visit the crater lakes, Edwards and George which has been popularly marked as the mating ground for several antelopes, particularly for the Uganda kob. You may be lucky to also sight more wildlife that may include lions, buffaloes, elephants, and other animals. Head back to your lodge for lunch and then proceed on an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. Enjoy the rays of the setting sun on the launch cruise. Return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha Sector

Take an early breakfast and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Ishasha sector the area famed for the tree-climbing lions. Have a short game drive, lunch and then proceed to Bwindi via the lush green countryside. Reach Bwindi by the evening and check into your lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park and Batwa cultural experience

After an early breakfast, head to the ranger station for briefing and by the mid-morning, start your gorilla trekking expedition in the lush forest vegetation of Bwindi national park. It is quite strenuous and requires fitness through the long hours of anticipated gorilla tracking, sometimes taking 2-7 hours of trekking. Other sights on the trails may include monkeys, birds and several butterflies. Spend utmost one hour with the gorillas and then retire to your lodge happy to have made the trip.

In the evening, visit an indigenous tribe of the Batwa living in the dense forests of Bwindi. Experience the cultural way of life, music and dance and more.

 Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – 2nd deepest Lake in Africa

After breakfast, enjoy a drive through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to Lake Bunyonyi near Kabale in the Kigezi region. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon you have a wonderful experience of nature with a guided canoe excursion or boat cruise along the Lake, for birding, exploration and visiting local places. In the evening, relax at the lodge, dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Transfer from Bunyonyi to Jinja, the adventure capital of East Africa

Breakfast in the morning and begin the transfer to Jinja, the adventure capital of east Africa. Enjoy a scenic drive as to enroute via mabira forest and have a stop over as to explore and also taste Uganda’s local snacks, this will give you a chance to connect with the local people and create beautiful memories with them.

Embark on the journey to discover the source of river Nile, “longest river in the world”, you will take a boat cruise to the source of river Nile.

After a full day of adventure experience, you will enjoy your night in Jinja.

Day 12: White water rafting Transfer from Jinja to Entebbe

Have a morning breakfast then, the guide and get ready for ultimate adventure of white water rafting on the world’s longest river will brief you. During rafting, you will also get a chance to spot some of the prominent and stunning falls like itanda falls, bunjagali falls or busowoko falls. If time allows.

After white water, rafting you will be transferred to Entebbe More sightseeing on the road to Entebbe Airport and lunch is organized en-route.

Arrive in Entebbe in the Evening; check in the hotel as you prepare for your departure the next day.

Day 13: Transfer to the Airport and Departure

After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred by the guide to the Airport and bid a farewell to Uganda. We organize the last transfer to Entebbe depending on your time of departure. You reach at Entebbe International Airport and final transfer to the airport for a departure flight.
